The Bihor County Council through ADD Bihor continues to finance the projects of local authorities. Following the decision of the General Assembly of Associates, ADD Bihor will allocate over 1,6 million RON for seven municipalities in the county.
The sum that will be offered to each municipality rises to 240.000 RON, with each locality establishing its own list of priorities.
In Stei, the money allocated through ADD Bihor will be used for the feasibility study and technical project of the water-supply system of the city as well as the feasibility study for repairing water piping stretching approximately 5000 meters.
The decision of Beius City Hall was to use the sum to equip the “Episcop Nicolae Popovici” Municipal Hospital with a UPS, non-interruptible energy supply system, games for children and urban furniture as well as hooking up the Didactic Swimming Pool to the utilities grid of the municipality, which is an investment also realized through ADD Bihor.
In the city of Nucet, the city hall has decided to continue investments in school infrastructure. From the money allocated by the County Council the yard of Gymnasium No. 1 will be repaired and the secondary building of this institution will be equipped with furniture and IT equipment. This building has recently been modernized through financing obtained from ADD Bihor which exceeded 527.901 RON.
In Salonta, the money will be used for repairing several public areas, while the city of Alesd will use the financing to elaborate feasibility studies and technical projects which are necessary for local development projects. ADD Bihor will pay for the feasibility study related to modernizing Ciocarliei Street, the Urban revitalization of the Soimul Neighborhood, the archeological study and technical project for consolidating the “Piatra Soimului” Citadel and the technical project for the rehabilitation of the stands and the locker rooms of the local Sports Arena.
In Vascau, the County Council will co-finance the project for improving water infrastructure in the city, as well as help refurbish the central park and local bus station close to the train station. Last but not least, the local city hall will be able to develop parking spaces for the city inhabitants.
In Sacueni, the money will be use to continue and improve upon several local projects already financed by ADD Bihor such as ensuring utilities to inhabitants and building the access road to the future Sacueni Passenger Transfer Center and bus station or acquiring a heat station for the “Toldy” Gymnasium in Sannicolau de Munte.
Finally, the parking lot of the Didactic Swimming Pool will also be built. The objective of ADD Bihor is to support durable development within the county and its member municipalities. Through this new considerable financing opportunity, the County Council and ADD Bihor will support projects that really matter to local communities and that will improve the lives of locals.
