The construction works have begun for the first didactic swimming pool in the city of Sacueni. The investment is financed with funds from ADD Bihor through Bihor County Council and it is part of a larger scheme of investments which will see several other pools of its kind be built in other cities such as Beius, Marghita, Stei, Alesd, Nucet, Vascau, Sacueni and Valea lui Mihai.
Beres Csaba, mayor of Sacueni:
„Two years ago, during a meeting at Bihor County Council, I have raised the question of a swimming pool built in our city, but I also think it is important to have this kind of investment in every city of Bihor County. The president of Bihor County Council, mr. Pasztor Sandor has gone above and beyond in order to make sure that these investments can be undertaken and completed. We would like to introduce this pool in the circuit of our local school and use the opportunity to host physical education classes within the premises”. In Sacueni, the project of building a swimming pool was also included in the local development strategy of the city. These types of pools are designed to be managed by schools and for the primary use of children but can also be used by the local population after school hours.
Vitalyos Barna, director of ADD Bihor:
„The semi-olympic swimming pool area has a surface of 1000 square meters, while the basins are 25 x 12 meters long and 12.5 x 6 meters long in the case of the child pool”. In Sacueni, the builder has already started work on the foundation of the new complex which will be built near the „Petofi Sandor” Theoretical Highschool. Vitalyos Barna: „If time will allow it, next week will bring the opening of a new building ground in the city of Nucet and, over the course of time, if we will receive the necessary financing from the government, we will also start work on the projects in Marghita, Stei and Valea lui Mihai”.
The financing contract for this investment was signed on December 21st 2018 and the constructor, COSTA VOC IMPEX SRL will have 12 months available to finish building. The warranty is 36 months and the value of the investment is 4.579.072,03 RON, VAT included.
