In the ordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Associates for Inter-Community Development – ADD Bihor, which took place on January 19th, the participants agreed upon two projects which are part of the Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary 2014-2020 program. This meeting, which took place at 11:00 AM, was attended by Pasztor Sandor as President of Bihor County Council as well as all representatives of the municipalities of Salonta, Marghita, Beius, Alesd, Valea lui Mihai, Sacueni, Stei, Vascau and Nucet. As representatives for ADD Bihor, present were directors Vitalyos Barna and Andrei Caciora. The project named „Improving work places and work offers in Bihor County, Oradea and Hajduboszormeny through developing the potential of local infrastructure” has, as partners, Oradea City Hall, Hajduboszormeny City Hall and ADD Bihor. The second project named „Increasing the number of work places in Bihor and Hajdu-Bihar Counties” involves the collaboration between partners such as ADD Bihor and ADD Hajdu-Bihar. The contribution from ADD Bihor in the two projects will be of 2% of the reported value which will be allocated through the project. The purpose of the projects is to encourage agricultural industry and the production of ecological products which are sourced locally, having an untapped market potential and bringing value to local products in a wider market, as well as developing competences, abilities and entrepreneurial knowledge between local producers through organizing courses and realizing a database where farmers and producers can register. Attracting workforce which is available at local level and perfecting it from a professional standpoint through increased specialization in centers very close to home while developing cross-border cooperation in regards to producing superior quality products which are also ecological together with forming local brands and brand identities are other objectives of the two projects.
