The 9 swimming pools „projected” for 9 localities in Bihor county at the behest of Bihor County Council are entering normal process. Following the meeting held yesterday, September 26th, at ADD Bihor headquarters, the pre-feasibility study of these swimming pools was presented. We are talking about didactic (semi-olympic) swimming pools destined for schools in which students will be able to be initiated in the sport of swimming. These spaces will also cater to the local public after school hours while their maintenance and staffing will be ensured by local authorities. Local city halls will also establish price levels for the general population. The pre-feasibility study generated further data regarding the size of the swimming pools, of approximately 25 x 12,5 meters. The local city halls will offer ADD Bihor the necessary areas within their city limits on which the pools will be built, of approximately 3000 square meters each. These areas will undergo verification in the near future, after which an order will be given to start the feasibility studies. The intent of the leadership of Bihor County Council is to ensure proper environments where children can safely practice swimming. According to president Pasztor Sandor, there is also an aim to increase the level of comfort and quality of life in the member localities where these swimming pools will be built. We are talking about Alesd, Salonta, Marghita, Valea lui Mihai, Beius, Stei, Vascau, Nucet and Sacueni.
